The service designed to provide you with the day to day operational support required to maintain your Zimbra Collaboration Suite server at a fraction of the cost of employing your own IT staff to do it for you:

  • Monitor server 24/7 using our monitoring system
  • Proactively respond to monitored alerts (during business hours only)
  • Tuning of Spam/Virus filtering for maximum performance
  • Monthly test restore
  • Monthly management report
  • Zimbra upgrades (charged at time and materials rates)
  • Up to 1 hour of engineer time included per month, additional time spent charged extra
  • Add Continuity Email (optional extra)
  • Add 24/7 proactive response

Monitoring is comprehensive and all alerts will be reviewed by an engineer who will either fix the problem, or if the alert is just informational, such as a disk space issue, the engineer will provide you with written suggestions. Monitoring includes:

  • Can send/receive email via POP3, IMAP, SMTP
  • SSL / TLS available
  • Webmail available
  • OS - disk space, cpu etc
  • Backup status
  • Connectivity to the Zimbra server(s) will be monitored, but will not be investigated if alerted as it will be assumed that client’s internet access has gone down
  • Alerts can also be sent to customer staff

The monthly management report will include the following:

  • Overall System uptime and performance
  • Disk usage and quota usage reports
  • Number of reported incidents including information on response times and resolution reports
  • Alert reports, broken down by urgency/type
  • Restore report
