Management Team
Marc Gadsdon (Director)
Marc started and sold two businesses before founding In-Tuition as a network support provider in 1996. Later the business moved on to provide web application development and hosting services.
Prior to focusing on the hosting business, Marc lead In-Tuition to complete a number of large projects which mixed application development and complex hosting requirements. Those projects included the design, development and hosting of a high volume online trading exchange; support for the annual Pro Retail show run by Palmer & Harvey McLane PLC; a highly successful Vodafone Live! site for use on mobile phones on which In-Tuition was lead developer and joint project manager for the roll out across the key Vodafone operating companies around Europe. More recently Marc assisted Debbie Moore Enterprises in the development of a burgeoning shopping website www.pineappleshopping.com and was also a key member of the team that planned and implemented a European wide Reseller Channel for an Australian internet start-up.
Colin McKenzie (Director)
Colin is an experienced computer professional specialising in information systems consultancy. Prior to In-Tuition, Colin founded his own IT company in 1992 with a focus on the Government Sector, Legal services and the City. Colin co-founded BarristerNet Ltd - an online information portal and Internet Service Provider targeted specifically at barristers, with Marc in early 1998.
Prior to Colin’s business success, he joined the Corporate Finance Division of Charterhouse Bank, a leading Merchant Bank and Member of the Accepting Houses Committee. At the Bank he was part of the team which arranged the £645m merger of Hilton Hotels with the Ladbroke Group and the £2.7B privatisation of the Scottish Hydro Electricity industry. Colin was Head of the Corporate Finance Information Centre, where he had direct responsibility for developing, managing and implementing the overall open systems computing strategy for the Bank.
On leaving school Colin worked for Swiss Bank Corporation in London and Luxembourg before graduating from the University of Cambridge where he read Economics at St John’s College.
